Jeroboam Followed His Heart

After the kingdom divides into Judah and Israel, Israel is plagued by terrible leadership.  Jeroboam sets a standard for all the kings that follow him in the nation of Israel - he did what was evil in the eyes of the LORD.  His problem was that he followed his heart rather than following the Lord.  May we all be careful to walk by the revealed will of our God and enjoy the blessedness that comes by faithful living!
