This lesson was preached in two sessions but has been put together for easier listening.  

1 Peter is addressed to "elect exiles" and expounds on the theme that in this life Christians are "strangers and exiles."  Living the life God has called us to in Christ Jesus requires us to fully embrace the mentality that this world is not our home.  We live as those who are seeking a homeland and live each day filled with the hope of glory.  But can we embrace exile to the extent that we are willing to call others to embrace it as well?  Jesus died for the whole world and desires all men to be saved.  Will be embrace the fact that as exiles we are also "ambassadors for Christ" and "ministers of reconciliation?"
